Doris Forson

Update Sep 30 : After further tests, cancer was discovered in here lymph glands. Please continue to pray her healing.

Update Aug 15: Doris Forson had surgery today to remove the bottom part of one lung for the removal of cancer. The surgery was successful & the Dr. thinks that the lymph glands are ok, though tests will reveal more in the coming days. Doris has lots of pain & may be in the hospital for a week. Please continue to pray for Doris & Ken. Ken has his own health issues & needs our prayers.

Update Aug 14: Doris will have surgery on Friday, Aug 15, morning to remove the cancerous portion of her right lung. Please pray for Doris & Ken.

Doris learned today that she has lung cancer in the bottom lobe of her right lung. She is planning on having surgery next week for removal of the bottom section of the lung. Dr. says that she is in good health, but will probably lose 20% of lung capacity. Please be praying for Ken & Doris.

Vernie Armstrong

Update Sep 30: Vernie had a setback this week and is back in at Covenant Hospital in Lubbock.

Vernie is undergoing treatment for cancer. He has a mass behind his jaw. Please for him and his wife Martha as they go through this.

Update July 18, 2008: Martha Armstrong called this morning about 10:40 AM Texas time. Vernie is back in Covenant hospital & is spitting up blood clots. His blood pressure dropped to 66/40 but is better now. He doesn't feel like having company but would appreciate the prayers of the brethren.
Pray for Martha also.

Sandra Hines

Sandra recently had to have her gall bladder removed on September 29. Please pray for a quick recovery so that she and her family will have a more enjoyable Feast.
